MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- Russia and China may have a trade volume of U.S. $250 billion soon, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"The dynamics is very impressive. This causes a satisfaction both in Moscow, and in Beijing. The outreach is rising, the number of cooperation areas is constantly increasing,” Peskov said.
“China is our big ally, and trade and economic partner, we will develop this cooperation. The mentioned horizon of $250 billion is absolutely realistic, we hope to reach and exceed it soon."
The Chinese customs said last week that Russia and China's 2022 trade volume grew by 29.3% to a record of $190.271 billion.
